A car-free village

One train, one bus
Geneva Airport has a railway station under the terminal, and the IR90 and IR95 InterRegio services run from it to Visp without a change. Visp is the valley town below the Saas valley, and from the station the PostBus 511 climbs to the Saas-Fee bus terminal every half hour.
The Swiss timetable puts the whole journey at 3 h 40 to 3 h 50 with that single change — about fifty minutes more than the road. For two people travelling light it is a genuinely good option, and it removes the car park from the equation entirely.
