When should I choose a private chauffeur over a taxi?
For business arrivals (the brand impression matters), groups of 4+ (V-Class fits 7 with luggage), VIP guests (S-Class with Burmester audio and massage seats), multi-stop itineraries (hotel → meeting → airport), ski transfers with full equipment (Sprinter), or whenever the additional CHF 75 over a taxi buys peace of mind and on-arrival hospitality.
What is jet-bridge Meet & Greet?
On S-Class bookings, we coordinate with Geneva Airport ground services to greet you at the aircraft door — before passport control. A porter handles luggage, you are escorted through a priority lane, and the Mercedes is waiting in the private parking area. Total walk-out time: 8–12 minutes versus 25–40 minutes through standard arrivals.
How much is hourly chauffeur service in Geneva?
Hourly chauffeur rates from CHF 110/hour with a 3-hour minimum. E-Class: CHF 110/h. V-Class: CHF 140/h. S-Class: CHF 180/h. Sprinter (events / groups): CHF 220/h. Includes driver, fuel, parking, and waiting time within the booked window.
Can I have a chauffeur for a wedding or event?
Yes. Wedding packages include 4-hour minimum (CHF 440 E-Class up to CHF 720 S-Class), Mercedes decorated with white ribbon at no extra charge, multi-stop allowed (church → reception → photo locations). For larger guests transport, V-Class shuttles or Sprinter at CHF 220/h.
Are the drivers professional chauffeurs?
Yes. All drivers hold the Swiss professional chauffeur licence (catégorie B1 121), are uniformed (suit, no logo), trained in protocol for diplomatic and VIP service, and speak English. Many speak French, German, Italian, Arabic, or Russian — specify at booking if needed.
Is there a corporate account option?
Yes. Companies with 10+ monthly transfers qualify for: monthly consolidated invoicing in CHF or EUR, dedicated account manager, priority dispatch (15-min response), VAT-compliant invoicing (Swiss + EU), per-cost-centre reporting. Onboarding by email to [email protected].
What languages do drivers speak?
Standard: French and English on all bookings. On request, the dispatch system assigns a driver who additionally speaks German, Italian, Arabic, Russian, Spanish, or Portuguese. Request language at booking — confirmation includes driver linguistic profile.
Is the chauffeur insured for accidents?
Yes. All vehicles carry full commercial RC coverage (CHF 10M minimum), passenger accident insurance (CHF 200K per passenger), and CASCO. Drivers undergo annual medical and skills certification per Swiss federal requirements. Operating licence: Canton de Genève transport authority.
