Which vehicle for your group
The right minibus depends on how many of you are travelling and how much you are carrying. Here is how the two vehicles compare, and what happens above 14.
Mercedes V-Class — up to 7 + 8 bags
The everyday choice for families and small groups. Up to 7 passengers with around 8 suitcases, plenty of head room, and space for a few ski bags on top. Comfortable for the run into Geneva or a two-hour drive to the Alps.
Best for: families, couples travelling together, small groups →Mercedes Sprinter — up to 14
The group minibus. Up to 14 seats with a large luggage area for skis, snowboards and bulky winter bags. Everyone rides together with one driver, which keeps a ski trip or a wedding party on the same schedule.
Best for: ski groups, large families, corporate parties →15 or more passengers
Above 14 we send two coordinated vehicles that arrive together and travel in convoy, so the whole group still reaches the resort or hotel at the same time. Tell us the headcount and bag count and we price it per vehicle.
Best for: school trips, tour groups, large events →Skis, snowboards and bags — all included
A group arriving at GVA for the slopes carries a lot: boot bags, ski bags, snowboards and the usual suitcases. Here is what is covered.
Room for the kit
Skis, snowboards and oversized luggage travel at no extra charge. When you book, just tell us the number of ski or board bags so the driver brings the right vehicle with a roof box or a large rear load area.
Tell us your bag count when you book →Child seats, free
Infant seats, child seats and booster seats are provided free of charge on request. Add the ages of the children when you book and the driver fits the correct seats before pickup — no need to carry your own through the airport.
Add child seats at booking →Winter-equipped, flight tracked
Vehicles are fitted with winter tyres and carry chains for the mountain roads in season. We track your flight, so a delayed or early landing is not a problem, and 60 minutes of waiting are included while you clear the airport.
One vehicle keeps your group together →Minibus with driver vs. the alternatives
A private minibus is not the only way to move a group from GVA. Here is where it wins, and where it does not.
vs. a self-drive rental
A rental van means one of you drives after a flight, finds and pays for parking, buys the Swiss vignette, fits winter tyres and carries the insurance risk on snow. A minibus with a driver removes all of that — you arrive, you relax, someone else drives.
No parking, no vignette, no night driving →vs. splitting into taxis
Two or three airport taxis usually cost more in total than one minibus, split the group across vehicles, and give you no single fixed price. One Sprinter keeps everyone together and quotes a single figure per vehicle before you travel.
One price, one vehicle, one group →vs. a shared shuttle
A shared shuttle is cheaper per seat but stops for other passengers, waits to fill up and runs to a timetable, not to your flight. A private minibus leaves when you land and drives straight to your door.
Direct, on your schedule →Geneva Airport minibus — FAQ
How many passengers fit in a minibus from Geneva Airport?
A Mercedes V-Class seats up to 7 passengers with around 8 suitcases, and a Mercedes Sprinter seats up to 14. Both are private and booked for your group only. If you are more than 14, we send two coordinated vehicles that travel together so the whole group arrives at the same time.
Can we bring skis, snowboards and large luggage as well as people?
Yes. Skis, snowboards and oversized bags travel at no extra charge. When you book, tell us how many passengers and how many ski or board bags you have, and the driver brings a vehicle with the right luggage space — a roof box or large rear load area — so people and kit fit comfortably in one minibus.
Is the minibus price per person or per vehicle?
The price is per vehicle, not per person, and it is fixed the moment you book. Tolls, the Swiss motorway vignette and fuel are all included; a 3.5% card fee is added at payment. For example, Geneva Airport to Chamonix is CHF 803 for a Sprinter of up to 14, whether it carries 9 people or 14.
Do you provide child seats for a family group?
Yes, infant seats, child seats and booster seats are provided free of charge on request. Add the ages of the children when you book and the driver fits the correct seats before pickup, so you do not have to carry your own through the airport. Swiss law requires children under 12 and shorter than 150 cm to use a suitable restraint.
What if our group is more than 14 people?
For 15 or more passengers we arrange two or more coordinated vehicles that arrive together and travel in convoy, so the group stays on one schedule and reaches the resort or hotel at the same time. Send us the total headcount and the number of bags and we quote a fixed price per vehicle.
How far in advance should we book a group minibus?
As early as you can, especially in ski season when larger vehicles are in high demand around weekends and school holidays. A few days ahead is usually fine for a V-Class, while a Sprinter or two vehicles for a big group are best booked one to two weeks ahead. You can request a fixed price any time using the form on this page.
