56 × 45 × 25 cm and up to 23 kg — one of the most generous in Europe. Plus a personal item 40 × 30 × 15 cm. This applies to ALL fare classes including Basic (Hand Baggage Only). BA does not have an easyJet-style “underseat only” basic fare. Wheels and handles count toward the 56 × 45 × 25 cm dimensions; the gauges at Geneva are stricter on London-bound flights than on outbound from LHR.
Does BA include a checked bag on flights from Geneva?
Only on Economy Plus, Plus Flex, Club Europe, Club World and First. The Economy Basic (“Hand Baggage Only”) fare does NOT include a checked bag — you pay CHF 35 online to add a 23 kg bag (CHF 65 at the airport). If you have hold baggage, always book at least Economy Plus — the price difference is often less than the airport bag fee.
